School tours are a great chance to meet our community, visit classrooms and see students and staff at work.  

There will be no more school tours scheduled for 2024.  If you would like to go on our waitlist for a tour in 2025, click ‘book a school tour’ below and we will contact you in 2025.

Letter from the Principal

Dear Families,

In the coming months you will make some important decisions about secondary education. This is an exciting but sometimes challenging time, especially for families who are preparing their first child for secondary school. There are many options and sometimes it’s difficult to know where to begin.

Parents know their child and looking at different schools helps clarify which school might provide the best fit for their family.

At Catholic Regional College St Albans, we offer an education designed specifically to meet the needs of both boys and girls in a co-educational setting. The students entrusted into our care are welcomed into a Catholic faith community where families, learning and student wellbeing matter. All we do stems from our College motto, Jesus’ invitation to, ‘ Love one another as I have loved you ’.

Respect, learning, support, understanding, justice, community and positive relationships are the key values of the school. In light of these values, the College strives to be a place where people are respected, diversity is valued and everyone is given a fair go. We aim to develop a supportive learning environment where students experience hope and trust and are encouraged to explore their faith and to achieve their personal best.

Being a Year 7 – 10 College of about 500 students means that we are small enough to ensure that students are known individually, are valued and have a strong sense of belonging, but that we are also able to offer a broad, innovative and challenging curriculum. On finishing at St Albans, our students are fortunate to complete their secondary education at Catholic Regional College Sydenham. As a College specialising in Years 11 and 12, Sydenham is well able to cater for the needs of many different students, offering a broad range of courses in VCE, VET and VCAL.

Financial difficulties should never be a reason for not enrolling your child at our College. Our Mission is to ensure that a Catholic education is possible for all Catholic children in the area. Uniform

Catholic Regional College St Albans Uniform can be purchased from our supplier Academy Uniforms in Niddrie.

It is important that all items of uniform (including school bag) are purchased at Academy Uniforms as they have our College logo on them.

Shoes must be black leather lace up.
