Letter from the Principal

Thank you for your interest in finding out more about Catholic Regional College St Albans. Choosing a secondary school is an exciting but sometimes challenging time, especially for families preparing their first child for secondary school. There are many options and sometimes it’s difficult to know where to begin.

Parents / guardians know their child and looking at different schools can help clarify which school might best suit your family. Visiting during the school day is one way of seeing if the school is a good fit for your child.

We welcome visitors and encourage you to book a school tour here. Alternatively, contact our Registrar, Jackie Neves on 9366 2544 or at echalmers@crcstalbans.com.au.  If these times don’t suit, we are happy to arrange a time convenient to you and your child. The tour is a chance to meet us, to visit classrooms and to see students and staff at work.

At Catholic Regional College St Albans, we offer an education designed specifically to meet the needs of all students in a co-educational setting. The students entrusted into our care are welcomed into a Catholic faith community where families, learning and student wellbeing matter. All we do stems from our College motto, Jesus’ invitation to ‘Love one another as I have loved you’.

Being a Year 7 – 10 College of just over 570 students means that we are small enough to ensure that students are known, and have a strong sense of belonging, but that we are also able to offer a broad, innovative and challenging curriculum. On finishing at St Albans, our students are fortunate to complete their secondary education at Catholic Regional College Sydenham. As a College specialising in Years 11 and 12, Sydenham is well able to cater for the needs of many different students, offering a broad range of courses in VCE and VET.

Uniform

Catholic Regional College St Albans Uniform can be purchased from our supplier Academy Uniforms in Niddrie.

It is important that all items of uniform (including school bag) are purchased at Academy Uniforms as they have our College logo on them.

Shoes must be black leather lace up.
