Our College

Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Catholic Regional College St Albans. We are a Catholic faith community where Jesus’ call to ‘love one another as I have loved you’ underpins all that we do.

At our school we celebrate and embrace the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of our local community and endeavour to live as a community without borders. Our students are encouraged to explore their faith, to care for others, to become active global citizens, and to do their personal best in all things.

We believe that young people who are happy, confident and able to establish positive relationships are better placed to learn. A strong pastoral care program and being a relatively small school (460 students in Years 7-10) helps to nurture such relationships and to ensure that each student is known, valued and connected.

The College hopes to engage, support and challenge students; to make learning active, purposeful and real, and to connect students with the world beyond school. We offer a rich, relevant and innovative curriculum which focuses on literacy and numeracy, offers depth as well as breadth, and provides for individual pathways in Years 9 and 10. Students complete their secondary education at CRC Sydenham.

It is our intention that the young men and women who leave our school, leave with an awareness of God in their lives; a sense of wonder, hope and possibility; a passion for learning and a desire to make a difference.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and invite you to contact the College should you wish to take a school tour or need further information.

Thank you for your interest in our school.
