A family is a place to cry and laugh and vent frustration to ask for help and tease and yell, to be touched and hugged and smiled at.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

Let us put ourselves into the hands of our Lord,
and pray that God will bless us and our families
during the coming holy days.

Lord, help me to move through this Lenten season at your pace.
Not rushing from post to post.
Not having time to stop and reflect.
