Parents’ Cyber Safety Awareness Night

At CRC St Albans, we understand the importance of helping our students navigate the online world in a safe and healthy way. As technology continues to advance, it has become more important than ever to equip our children with the skills they need to be responsible and informed digital citizens.

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a ‘Cyber Safety Awareness’ evening on Wednesday 10 May from 6:30pm to 8:15pm. This event is designed to help families learn how to ‘plan, prevent, and protect’ their online use and support their children’s digital wellbeing and overall wellbeing.

Our presenters for the evening will be the Cyber Safety Education Project, who are experts in this field. The format for the evening will be:

  • 6:30pm – Parents/Guardians arrive. Light refreshments served.
  • 6:45pm – Session 1: Presentation in preferred language group.
  • 7:45pm – Session 2: Q & A.
  • 8:00/8:15pm – Evening concludes.

We will also be running a Cyber Safety Education program with our students during Health classes, so as to reinforce the importance of online safety, and to assist in continuing the conversation at home.

Childcare facilities will be provided.

RSVP by Monday 8th May for catering, childcare and language purposes.

For further information, please contact Dale Marshall or Laura Cioccia – 9366 2544.

IMPORTANT: We encourage all parents/guardians to attend the evening.
