School Bus: Derrimut / Deer Park / Albanvale to CRC St Albans

You are receiving this letter as you reside in the Deer Park, Derrimut and Albanvale areas. Following a number of requests from families, we are currently exploring the viability of providing a school bus service from this area to the College.

Key features of the service would be as follows:

• The initial route would likely be along Station Road with a limited number of stops in Derrimut, Deer Park and possibly Albanvale.
• A minimum of 20 students would be required to make the service feasible.
• Costs would be user pays.
• Bus fees would be billed to families each term and the College would pay the bus company.
• Commitment would be for every day – part time arrangements are not possible.

At this stage costs are unknown as the quote for the service will be based on the number of prospective passengers, stops and the route.

If there is sufficient interest from families, we will work with bus companies to establish more exact details and costs.
